Folks,

I am considering adding remote sensor
(http://www.smarthome.com/30422/Venstar-Wireless-
Sensor-Receiver/p.aspx) +
receiver to monitor
temperature in another room (not the one the actual
thermostat is in). The question that arose: how do I get
temperature for that sensor? I know that
ph_insteonwithret("THERMOSTAT",107,3) will get me room
temperature as thermostat shows it on display, but what
about reading from remote sensor? And if it's not
possible, what possible wireless sensor alternative can
you recommend that is known to work with power home (I
believe if I can get the data out with some sort of
script, then I can just write the value into PH DB)

This is not really a PowerHome2 question. SmartLabs/Smarthome owns the device and should be able to tell you if there is a command architected into the adaptor that allows programmatic access to a remote temperature sensor value. If the adaptor provides an SD command that returns the value PH2 should be able to execute it. I did not find such a command in the Insteon command document I have but that is not definitive. Only Smartlabs/Smarthome can provide a definitive answer.
