I am new to home automation and am having a problem. I have a CM11A serial interface running on a Media center 2005 xp machine. The interface is connected through a USB to serial cable and my system sees the cable. When I try to communicate with the interface I get a "No driver"" can not communicate with the CM11A" I am using an old version of a program called Active home for the drivers (I think) Can anyone shed some light on this.
Thanks in advance

i do not use any external drivers, just the one in powerhome. try rechecking your port settings for the device and under setup/controllers and then settings for your cm11a controller, they must match.

good luck
