How do you save changes to the Insteon network from PH? I'm trying to setup links and on-levels but I can't figure out how to push these changes to the SwitchLinc's.
Also, what are the steps to Spyder the insteon network?
Thanks

Wow... is no one using PH with Insteon? The quick start guide doesnt explain how to spyder or push updates out to the Insteon network. I thought this was a simple core task.

As I understand it, links created in PH should get queued to be pushed out when you click Save.
I haven't used it, but there is a check box in the Insteon Explorer that says, "Allow Link Spidering".

Bryan,
As another Newbie I empathize with you. It seems the Quick start was written before Insteon was included. I got help on the forum from Dave that got me through the problem I think you have. I also made some notes. Try these steps.
Creating Links
-In Insteon Explorer select Links tab
-For Current Device select the switchlinc module you want to work with in the window where it says Insteon Device ID
-Drag modules from the left window labelled ID to either the controller or responder windows as
desired. You should see pending save in both Ctlr Link Status and Resp Link Status columns.
-Click Save located on the same line as Current Device.
Status should change to Flagged Create in each column.
You should see these changes listed in Pending Operations window and should see activity in Insteon SDM Log window.
-If nothing happens select Devices tab in Insteon Explorer
-Click on Clear Failed (yellow) so that all devices have checkmark. Or to be more precise check
only the the devices that you are linking/unlinking.
-Click save/refresh. This should begin Insteon SDM Log activity. When Pending operations finish go back to Links tab.
-Click refresh. Flagged Create should change to verified. Linking should be complete

There is a rtf document in the powerhome folder that explains the Insteon setup.
If looks like the good doctor has you covered. There are a lot of us using Insteon. Since you're just getting into it now, there will be a lot of help available, but you may need to use the search functionality of the forums. Whenever Dave (dhoward) answers a question, he usually goes into great depth on the command/feature/function you asked help on.
The docs are a little light but there's a wealth of knowledge in the forums. Good luck. And give people more than a few hours to respond to questions.
Edit: Woohoo! This was my hundredth post!
