How have you got your setup configured? Does the event log show that X-10 is being transmitted? How are you testing the firecracker (virtual palm pad, macro, send keys function, etc.)

Dave.

I have x-10 controler 1 set to com 1 (Verified with firecraker software) All units on X All lights on X On X Off X Dim X Bright X all others unchecked.

Testing via palm pad. Controler house code and set number all verified.

Event log shows:

Send Keys
Send keys of type 2:{x10-1+A+1+0}{x10-1+A+102+0}

Outgoing X-10
X-10 Controller 1 transmission of House code: A, Unit Code: 1

Outgoing X-10
X-10 Controller 1 transmission of House code: A, Command: On

Sorry its taken so long to respond. Went out of town this weekend and did nothing computer related

It looks like everything is configured properly. The controller setup looks fine, the palm pad will communicate properly to the CM17A, and the event log looks like everything is fine. Soooo, Im a little stumped. The last release had the communication routines rewritten and some problems developed communicating with the Ocelot. Its possible something may have crept in with the CM17A also. I'll do some testing on my end and see what I can turn up. Im currently rewriting the communication routines again to add some Ocelot functionality and the CM17A will be rewritten also. Expect a new maintenance release in about a week. But I'll test and let you know about the CM17A before that.

Dave.

Thanks Dave for your response.  I was hoping to test it out before I bought it but my trial license has expired.  I guess I'll have to pony up to find out.

I can't think of any changes that should be made to the ini file.  The default settings should be adequate.  As an afterthought, did you try uninstalling and installing PowerHome version 1.00.1?  Just wondering if the rewrite of the communication routines with 1.01.1 also had an effect on the firecracker.

Dave.
