Does PH receive X10 instructions and then relay them via the PLC out to the WEB for X10 enabled Insteon devices to respond?
When I use my handheld remote with homeseer, I have to create an event that resends those X10 codes back on to the web for my Switchlinc devices to respond.
The Lamplinc devices respond automatically but not the SwitchLinc devices.

I would like to make a clarification on a term that I used.
When I said WEB I meant the Insteon Network.

If your SwitchLinc's have X10 addresses, the remote is X10 RF, and you use a W800, you can change the W800 settings to select which house codes are echoed onto the power line.

I hope that made sense!

That's exactly how the Insteon LampLincs work. The problem that I have is with the Insteon SwitchLincs.
Using Homeseer, I have to create an event that listens to the remote and the re-transmits it to the insteon SwitchLinc. Weird part is, my Insteon LampLincs & SwitchLincs listen to and respond to an X10 controller directly, but not the reomte.
This may be a Homeseer thing, I don't know. I will be testing this with the PowerHome software tonight.

Chipsm,

If you've got the same situation that Tony describes (X10 RF remote such as palmpad and W800 or MR26A), then you shouldnt have to write triggers or scripts to have this X10 RF echoed as powerline X10 commands. PowerHome allows you to define this in the controller setup on a per housecode basis.

IOW, you can set the W800 to echo all X10 commands that it receives for housecode G onto the powerline. This is a one for one echo and works for the entire housecode. If you want finer control than this such as echoing only G1,G3, and G5, then you would do this using a PowerHome trigger.

Hope this answers your question and if it doesnt, just let me know.

Dave.
