I've been playing with this for awhile and have worked through some issues, however I've come to some I have not been able to solve:

1. I get a (in Insteon Links (Grouped by COntroller) controller ID of [Not found] and a bunch of links to it)
2. I setup keypadlinc lincs by using groups and setting the button and the other lights but it does not appear to work (am I misunderstanding what is required to set a keypad's buttons?)
3. The [not founds] creep up in other links as well not just the [Not Found] controller.

It has not done much for WAF as, while I was able to use the software to set multiple lights in synch, many other links seem to have stopped working.

Am I missing something? A bad powerlinc perhaps?

Mike,

The [NOT FOUND] controller ID is the address of an Insteon Device that is not in the PowerHome Insteon Devices Units screen. It's possible that this is a device that is in your system but you failed to auto-discover or manually add it to the Insteon devices screen. If it is not in your system now, the most likely it was in the past and you've got devices with dead links linking to it. You would want to do a "Delete from Device" on these links to clean up your other good devices.

If you've got [NOT FOUND] slowly creeping in to your good links, then you may not have the latest patch installed. On the download page, you should see a file called phpatch10347-4.zip. Just unzip the files in this package into your PowerHome directory and overwrite the existing files. This should prevent the NOT FOUNDS from creeping into your system.

Im not sure what the problem is with the KPL's. Are you having problems controlling the secondary buttons on a KPL from another switch or problems controlling other switches from a KPL's secondary buttons?

Dave.
