Does PH support any triggers from PC hardware? I would like to have my doorbell tied in somewhere to be a trigger and not have the "wireless" delays.

Thanks!

Tony,

Not at this time. I plan to implement this type of support shortly via Windows messaging. Basically, external applications will be able to communicate via Windows messaging with PowerHome including activating triggers. An external program can then monitor whatever hardware ports, etc. is needed and then send the appropriate windows message to PowerHome and fire the trigger. Ive started work on it, but it wont make it into the next release.

Dave.

Tony,

If you decode an old keyboard, you'll have 101 digital inputs at once, since PowerHome reacts immediately to keypresses. It's by far the cheapest solution to your inputproblem. Of course you'll have to place a relay between the keyboard input and your doorbelcircuit.

Ciao.

Interesting idea, Didi. I'll have to consider that one.

I forgot about the associated delays and hacked a Mini Controller into an 8-channel PowerFlash device. At least now I have 7 more contact inputs I can put to use!
