Still in my first week, but I am starting to get discouraged. I think I am starting to get a handle on the program but not having success. Everything is Insteon.
Install was fine (1.03.4.6). All deviced auto discovered and verified (controller and responder).
Then I started creating links. I had problems so I deleted them all except the link to the Powerlinc controller. Then I went 1 by 1. Entered link manually by right clicking on create in Insteon Groups by controller. First link shows up verified. But, when I go Insteon Switchlink Dimmer, they are not actually linked.
So I tried linking the other way - tap tap linking with other switches. They linked fine. PowerHome seems to recognize I did something, but the controller reports as not verified. I assume that is a reference to my manual link.
Some links are cocognized, some are not. When I change the level and ramprate, sometimes it works, sometimes it does not.
Any suggestions?

Lazyman,
Tell me a little about your setup. How many devices you have, how large your home is, etc.
Important question. Do you have the two SignaLincs installed? If not, you may be having phase problems. For example, the two switches you're tap-tap linking could be on the same phase and the PLC is on the other phase. The manual linking would work but you would have communication errors between the PLC and the switches.
If you have the SignaLincs, you may try moving them to different outlets. Also, try directly controlling your problem switches from PowerHome using the Device Status screen. If PowerHome cant control them directly, it cant link or read their links.
Let me know and Im sure we'll get it worked out.
Dave.
