Phil,
No problem. First thing is to make sure that PowerHome is completely shutdown including the database. You may want to reboot just to make sure.
Run the phupg.exe utility.
On the initial screen, just hit next.
The next screen allows you to browse to the database you wish to upgrade. If you installed PowerHome to the default directory, this will be c:\program files\powerhome\database\pwrhome.db. This is what should be default showing in the box. If so, hit next.
The utility will analyze the database you selected. If it's not the current version, it'll tell you it's going to upgrade. If it is the current version, it tells you it's going rebuild. Hit next.
Before rebuilding or upgrading, the utility will make a copy of the current database file. This next screen asks for the filename you want to copy your current database to. If you are upgrading version 1.03.6 database, then the default name will be c:\program files\powerhome\database\pwrhome.1036.db. If this is fine with you, hit next.
The next screen shows the actual upgrade (or rebuild progress). After it is complete, you should scroll through the list and verify that there were no errors. When done, hit next.
The last screen just gives a quick synopsis of what the utility did. Press Finish and you should be good to go.
Let me know if you need help.
Dave.
