Does anyone know if Powerhome supports Hobby Boards "Master Hub" below as a supported 1-wire controller?

Lenny,

I was all set to report "yes it does" because this is what Im using in my own setup.

However, took a look at the link and read the documentation. Unfortunately, this is a new/different version of the master hub from what I have and after going through the manual, it would NOT be compatible with the 1-wire support currently included in PowerHome.

PowerHome uses the 1-wire drivers/development kit from Maxim which should cover any 1-wire controller that uses these drivers. This new hub uses what looks like a proprietary ASCII protocol.

Might be something that can be added in the future but definitely wouldnt work now. At this time, it looks like the only compatible "controller" that Hobby Boards is currently selling is their 1-wire USB adaptor. The 4-channel hub would also be desirable (these two would essentially be the same as the "master hub" that I currently have) but it appears that it is currently unavailable.

Dave.

Thanks Dave, I was after the 4-channel hub but as you saw, it's been out of stock for a long time. The "new" Master Hub sounded like it could be a winner but I did see it wasn't the same as the original so I figured I'd ask if it was supported before I made any assumption.
