I've got a bunch of links listed in my problem report
that are controller and responder with a ID of [ID NOT
FOUND]. I've had the same DB for ~8 years, so I'm sure
it's devices that I've replaced over the years.

Is there an easy way of purging all the entries like
this? I've been creating the manually creating the
devices from the IDs, then purging the links but it a
slow process. Is there a better way?

Travis,

Probably several ways to do this with some easier than others but the way I like to do it (I feel more "comfortable" doing it this way as I don't want to run the risk of deleting a "good" link) is this way:

In the Insteon Links tab, make the device you'd like to clean up the currently selected device. I then go through the Controller links and click/control click all the links I want to get rid of (click the first link, it will select it. Control click subsequent links and they will be selected as well). With the links highlighted that you want to be rid of, click the "Remove" button (or you could "drag" the selected links and drop them on the remove button...I don't usually do this though as Im afraid I'll accidently "unselect" my links during the drag process). Click the "Save" text. Then do the same for the responder links.

The "Remove" button ONLY removes the links from the PowerHome database...it doesnt actually try to delete them from devices. After I get the links looking exactly the way I want them to look, I then click the "Rebuild" text and have all the remaining links recreated in the device with no gaps in records (as would occur if you just deleted links without rebuilding).

Dave.
