I thought people might be interested....
my son's room is at the top of our house. He can't hear when the laundry is ready. So, thanks to PH, he can now browse to a website, click on a button, and for the next several hours, whenever the laundry is ready (washer is done with nothing in dryer, or dryer is done), he gets a text or Email.
This uses PH's web server and Email-sending features, as well as it's ability to facilitate complex programming so that it's "smart" about the data it gets from the Insteon SynchroLinc current sensors on the washer and dryer. (Especially as the Washer turns on/off a couple of hundred times during a cycle, so PH has to act based on how long it's been "off").
