(Newbie here)
I have played and played with this motion sensor. Its an insteon 2842-222. I cant get PH to see it using wizard. I even tried to add it manually and the only traffic in the raw log was error timeouts. Manual setup maybe I did it wrong, but auto worked fine setting up insteon switches.
What am I doing wrong? I am putting the motion in link mode (hold button under the batt cover for 5sec) during auto discovery, PH just never discovers. I even tested it to make sure it wasn't defective, by direct linking to one of my insteon switches, it worked fine.
I am really confused.

Is PH2 at 2.1.4 with the I2CS ZIP file installed?
The Motion Sensor is an I2CS device which requires the above. It is also an RF only device so it must be within RF range of a Dual Band device. What Dual Band device is the Motion Sensor communicating through and how far is the Motion Sensor from the Dual Band device?
I do not use Wizards so no help there. The 2841-222 can be added to the Devices tab as a 2420M. They are the same device with the same cat/subcat values.

Thanks the help. I don't have the I2CS zip installed for sure. I am using PH2.1b, I will do some searching and get all the updates installed. As far as dual band devices I guess I need to check into all of that as well. I knew the kind folks on here would lead me down the right path.
