Hi,

I have many macros and the like setup on PH and am wondering if it is possible to get my universal remote to trigger these rather than re-program the remote. I am using a Redrat 2 so I will obviously need a IR receiver of some kind. Has anyone managed to do this?

Phil,

Absolutely!  Like you said, you will need an IR receiver of some kind.  Currently, PowerHome supports the Ocelot or the RedRat3 for incoming IR.

We are working on adding support for the USB-UIRT as well.

With the proper IR receiver hooked up, you would just create some triggers for incoming IR to fire the macros that you're interested in.
