I would love to use the TCP media controller for Windows
Media Center that can be obtained from
http://vmccontroller.codeplex.com/
but alas, it does not work on Vista x64 *sigh* .
But I found something else that I think should work:
http://www.kindel.com/products/mcecontroller/
I was able to open a telnet session, type in some of the
commands, and sure enough, it did what it was supposed
to. The next step is to make powerhome send the commands
to mcecontroller. I have tried
ph_sendsocketdata("localhost",5150,"greenbutton") but it
does not work. I think perhaps it has to establish a
telnet session first???
1. Has anyone used mcecontroller here? How did you get
it working?
2. Are there other options other than the two listed
above? I have searched high and low on google, but these
are the only two games in town that I could find.
3. Am I missing something obvious in my method here?

Thanks in advance for any help that you can offer! :)
