Hi, all,
I just d/l'ed and installed PowerHome2 after reading a post from LeeG over in the Smarthome forum. I've been using a Stargate for a dozen years or so and have recently replaced all my switches with Insteon. I'm struggling to maintain compatibility with my Stargate and am hoping to make Stargate and Insteon live happily together. I'm hopeful that powerhome might be the bridge I need.

Anyways...I was using Houselinc2 but found it just plain cumbersome and limiting. I've almost got all my insteon devices (72 and climbing) entered into Powerhome and am ready to start messing with stuff. I seem to be either missing something or it just doesn't exist.

I'm trying to find a way to label the buttons on my kpls in powerhome so that I don't have to have them written down somewhere. I can't find a way to do that in Powerhome. Everything seems to get addressed by button 1, button 2, etc. I've rtfm a few times now and searched the forums but can't find anything like that.

Any help would be appreciated - even if it's to tell me what a noob I am :)

Mark

Mark,

Unfortunately, PowerHome does not currently have the capability to label or show status on the secondary groups (secondary KPL buttons in your case) of Insteon devices.

Ive been toying with this idea for some time trying to figure out a good way to handle this so look forward in an upcoming beta.

Dave.
