Hi all - I had some lost functionality last night that I can't readily explain.
Quick history - I'm just getting started, only about 15 devices. I used HL2 to do most of the initial configuration. Nothing fancy, mainly things like virtual 3 or 4 way controls, couple of buttons that turn 2 devices on/off simutaneously, etc.
Last night, in a fit of boredom, I downloaded the trial PowerHome2. I shut down HL2, installed PH2. I run through the wizards. It detects the controller, then the devices and their links. Use the wizard generate the control center. Found that the control center would only toggle one load connected to one of my KPLs. I couldn't control any other via the control center on/off button. So I hop over to the Inteon Explorer and sure enough it will control the devices. So I decide to just leave it thinking maybe it was still doing it's crawling.
Later it is time to go to bed, I hit the D button on a KPL that turns off a LampLinc as well another KPL device's load. Nothing happens. Try another one. Nothing. The only keys across 4 different KPLs that work are the load on/off. Nothing remote.
So I go shutdown PH2 and load HL2 and use the software to turn off some of the devices (rather than move furniture to unplug Lamplincs).
This morning I look at HL2 and force a synchronize on a few devices. It reports links like I expect. I had suspected that somehow PH2 had erased links or something, but according to HL2 they are still there although still not functioning.
The interesting things is my 2 Remotelincs, which I did not import into PH2, seem to be correctly working in my limited testing this AM.
Can these 2 not play nice together? I never had them running at the same time. I don't have so many devices that recreating the lincs in HL2 will be difficult. But I'd like to understand why this happened. I guess the PH2 could be a change coincidental to some other problem, but considering the tight time coupling of installation to problems, I doubt it.
Thanks for any thoughts.
