My home is mostly insteon...with a few x10 lamp mods. However, the X-10 modules appear to turn off and on at weird times by themselves. They respond to my commands but will occasionally just turn off and sometimes on again. I have checked my insteon devices and none of them appear to have an x10 address. Is there something within PH that would send x10 commands in addition to my insteon commands? It is really strange. I am using my PLM to send both insteon and x10 signals. But the only x10 devices I have setup are the few lamp mods. Also, any ideas?

I call it Insteon noise. I also have the same problem with a couple of X10 modules. Sometimes changing the address helps.

I did change the address from a group B to an O and it got better, but still does it. I thought Insteon noise would just prevent signals from getting to the x10 mod, but this is actually turning it off and on.

I also found it affects only one module out of 3 with the same address. I suspect some are more sensitive than others. I have not interchanged them yet as it is so intermittent. It has been on the bottom of my honey do list…
