Did you take the defaults or did you specify a different path??

No chance to pick defaults. Here's what happened.
Run Powerhome 103412setup.exe
InstallShield Wizard begins, but then the error message pops up and the InstallShield Wizard goes to Finish and states that it was interrupted before PowerHome 1.03.4.12 Full Installation could be completely installed.
This was on my laptop which only has a C: drive. I thought maybe the installation was looking for a D drive, so I plugged in a USB drive and labelled it D: The installation then proceeded fully to completion. It installed to C:\My Programs without my changing the setup.
Maybe this is a bug in the installation program.

You may be right. These days they are not many without a D: drive. I would test it but I have a D: drive on all my stuff. Maybe someone else has run into this.

Jerome,
Welcome to PowerHome! Sorry to hear that your initial experience has been nothing but problems . Nothing should be going to a D: drive and I have confirmed that I can install successfully on two different machines that only have a C: drive. Can you tell me what OS you were installing on? Both of the systems I tried were XP so it may be related to the OS. Also, did the error occur right away, or was it after the readme, etc.
Thanks for any info you can provide and I'll try to track this down.
Dave.

Thanks for the quick replies and suggestions, but let's not get too deep here. I've already bypassed the problem and am demoing Powerhome.
FYI
The OS is XP Home and the error occurred right away, just after the screen says the .msi file is decompressing or something similar.
The error then shows up and the installation programs goes to Finish without the progam being installed.
