When I was using HouseLinc, there was an option to turn off local programming on switches by right-clicking on the Device, then changing a setting in the properties window.

Is it possible to do this in PowerHome? I cannot seem to locate the appropriate setting.

Niels,

Not quite sure of the specific setting you're referring to in HouseLinc. Can you further detail what the "local programming" does? Most of the settings concerning Insteon within PowerHome are available at the top of the Insteon Explorer as well as some columns in the "Details" tab.

Setting "Poll Interval" to 0 (or Max Failures to 0) will turn off all PowerHome background processing including polling, link creation and scanning, and local level updates, etc. for all devices.

Unchecking "Write Level/Ramp/X10" will prevent PowerHome from trying to update the Local level, local ramprate, and X10 address of Insteon devices.

If you want to disable a single device from status, link scanning or creation, or any background PowerHome process, you can place a check in the "Disabled" column of the device in the "Details" tab of the Insteon Explorer.

Dave.
