Has anyone else received this email upgrade offer for a new hardware version for the thermostat adapter?

=================================================
If you have ordered a Thermostat Adapter (2441V) or a kit that included the adapter (2491T1, 2491T7, 2490N2) - we want to extend our regular return policy to allow you to receive our latest v2.0 Thermostat Adapter.

4 simple upgrade steps:
1. Place an order for 2441V, Thermostat Adapter by January 20, 201 and you will receive Rev 2.0
2. After receiving your new adapter, contact our customer service team to get a return authorization number for your old Thermostat Adapter.
3. Ship your old Thermostat Adapter (if you bought a kit that included the Thermostat, only return the Thermostat Adapter) back to us within 30 days.
4. Once the old Thermostat Adapter has been received and processed, we will credit your account $80

It sounds like a good deal to get a couple extra features for only about $20 after credits. Although it seems like the $80 that gets credited to your account has to be used in 180 days. Just curious what everyone thought about it and if anyone was planning on upgrading.

I don't have one of ant Tstat control yet (burned up my RCS unit on install :(   ).

These look very interesting. I believe the older version DIDN'T have fan control....here is what the website says the new features are:

Rev. 2 New Features

Reports changes in temp, temp setpoints, mode, and fan mode

Controller functionality on heat call, cool call, and fan call (auto & manual ON)

Supports +1, -1 degree on incremental bright/dim commands

Off Button functionality - If you want a link to respond to an Off command instead of an On command, send an Off command from the INSTEON controller within 30 seconds of linking and before any other INSTEON commands are sent.

If anybody has one of the new ones, please report on the ability of PH control and interact with the unit. These look very tempting to me.
