Any help will be greatly appreciated..
Sucessfully installed Powerhome and setup Insteon PLC. Autodiscovery recorded 20 of my 25 Insteon devices and I added the rest manually. I am able to control the devices using the Device Status screen.
Problem is that Powerhome is not discovering any of my links. After autodiscovery of devices no devices or links showed up in either Groups screen even after 12 hours. Following suggestion in another thread I "Cleared PLC database", "Added ID's to PLC" and "Cleared Powerhome Insteon Groups". Nothing still..
Everything seems to be OK in the SDM log. However even using the "Scan all device database" from the Units screen no activity shows up in the SDM log. It's as if Powerhome isn't even attempting to find any links.
If it matters the PLC I'm using is the 2814U (Timer PLC) with the 2.12 firmware.
Thanks in advance for any ideas..

The first thing to check is your Insteon controller settings in the
Setup|Controllers section of the PowerHome Explorer. You'll want to make
sure that Background Polling is set to 15 or less (dont' set to 0 or polling
and link discovery will be shutdown altogether). Also make sure the
Background Status Check is checked and Background Database scanning is
checked. If you make any changes in this area, then restart or reinitalized
in order for changes to take effect.
I also see that you're using the Timer PLC. You'll need to use the
"Download CoreApp to PLC" button in the Insteon DM window to have the proper
coreapp sent to the PLC.
If it still doesnt work, send me a copy of your SDM log and I'll see if I
see anything irregular.
Let me know,
Dave.

Dave,
Thanks much for the reply. I also have an Insteon PLC off of my Elk M1 and when I unplugged it (afraid of 2 Insteon PLC's at the same time) and plugged in the Timer PLC and ran PowerHome it started to discover my links (I changed nothing in PowerHome). I swear I tried unplugging and plugging in the PowerHome connected PLC several times when it wouldn't discover any links.
I feel like the guy who called the TV repair man only to have the TV working perfectly when he gets there..
Thanks again and I'm really looking forward to giving PH a try..
