All,
Ive uploaded by request a new Insteon replace device utility (to help out with replacing all of those flickering SwitchLincs, etc. ).
You can get it here: http://www.power-home.com/download/ireplace.exe
Just copy the file to your PowerHome directory and execute it from there. This utility works solely with Insteon addresses and does not require you to add a new Insteon device, replace the ID's, and then delete the old ID. You can just type in the old address, the new address, and the all the controller links, responder links, and the device itself will be updated with the new address.
You can run the utility with PowerHome either running or not.
Let me know if you have any problems.
Dave.

I have a lot of flickering. Is that something I should talk to Smarthome about. Will they RMA my switches? How do I isolate the cause (or is it simply the room where the lights are actually flickering)?

Smarthome has said that they will exchange devices that flicker.

Lazyman,
The flickering that is currently plagueing Insteon switches (and is now fixed in SwitchLincs, KPL's coming) is when a switch is at close to it's rated load, is dimmed, and Insteon traffic is on the PowerLine. Suspect switches will flicker with the traffic.
Apparently, if the load is not too high (a 100 watt bulb on a 600 watt SW) may not cause the flicker. Also, the flicker is only when the light is dimmed. SmartHome will RMA these switches.
Dave.

Is this just a stand alone version of the Replace function in Power-Home?
