This issue is not a PowerHome issue really, but I thought someone might have some ideas that could help me.

I just installed a ceiling fan. I have a two-gang box in the wall, with a SmartHome 2384W SWITCHLINC PLC DIMMER to control the light and a SmartHome 23885W SWITCHLINC RELAY PLC to control the fan. The switches work, turning on/off their respective load.

My problem is that sometimes/often, but not always, when turning on or off the fan light using the SwitchLinc PLC, the SwitchLinc Relay turns on and the fan starts spinning. I haven't tested if this happens, for example, using an X-10 PalmPad instead of manual control. This idea just came to me while typing this message.

Any ideas? Has anyone come across anything like this?

Thanks,

-Dean
