Paul,

Currently, PowerHome only supports the X-10 and IR capabilities of the Ocelot (the SECU-16IR is the infrared expansion module and is supported. Check out Appendix B of the PowerHome manual under the CPU-XA/Ocelot section to find out how to address the individual zones). Support is planned for Analog and Digital inputs/outputs in the future and the SECU-16 will be the first module support is added for. The timeframe would probably be 3 to 6 months out however as the release following the next will be dedicated to various wizards for PowerHome.

Dave.

Thanks for the quick reply.
What really interests me is your CD-jukebox control, could this be expanded to handle DVDs too?

It's definately on my to-do list especially since I recently got a Pioneer 300 disc DVD changer

Ive put together some preliminary ideas on how I want to handle it so it wont be too far in the future.

Outstanding!
As soon as you get it to work with a SECU-16 let me know!
Looks like you have a convert (and a sale).

I like it a lot. I had narrowed it down to the Pioneer, the new Sony, and the Kenwood. My first choice would have been the Kenwood because it did everything the Pioneer did and included the ability to automatically flip two-sided discs as well as beefed up video circuitry. It was too expensive though at nearly twice the price of the Pioneer. The Sony was about the same price as the Pioneer but I ruled it out almost immediately because it doesnt support CD-R or CD-RW and the Pioneer does. When I first got it, I was ready to make the changes to PowerHome immediately so I would be able to know what disc was where. Turns out the Pioneer has a built in disc menu system which tracks the discs quite well so I put the PowerHome changes on hold for other stuff (its still going to get done though

Great!
What model of Pioneer did you buy, it just so happens that I'm looking for a "mega" changer and feel the same way about HK and don't want Sony. (Maybe we should move this off the messageboard, we are getting off track.)

It was the Pioneer DV-F727 300 disc changer. I havent found any problems with it yet, the only disappointment is the fact that it doesnt do two sided flipping. I dont have that many two-sided discs but it is annoying having to get up, eject, flip, and get it playing

Yea, that kind of bugged me too.

Don't forget when SECU 16 is added to let me know!
