I set up a bunch of timers with Powerhome and actually saw them work - once or twice. Any ideas why they are not working daily now as they are set for daily.
For example: ph_insteon("MASTER BEDROOM", ion, 70)
(should there be spaces after the comma? Does it matter?
Other concurrent problems - It seems like my SDM crashes a lot. However, it was not crashed this morning and the timed events did not trigger.

I just looked at my log file. It looks like the timed events did execute in Powerhome, just not in my house. The computer shows them as done, the lights just did not respond.

You do realize that the brightness level of 70 is really 70 / 255 = 27%?

Yes I do. I have a series of macros that run in the morning. There are 3 or 4 which incrementaly increast the brightness. The first is 70, the last is 200. The lights remain off. A reasonable question though.

OK, if the info is in the log, I would think that there is a noise issue.
Is there a way that you could trigger the event and watch the status LED on the device to see if it "hears" the command?
Can you also see the events in the SDM log?

I had a tough time with setting up my system. I had problems with not found, and stuck in checking mode. Right now it looks clean. (But I think that is the result of eliminating the bad links so that I do not have links I would like to have.
I think I looked at my SDM log. Is it: Program Files\powerhome\Smarthome\Device Manager\_log_end.txt
If it is, I do not know how to read it. I can attach it.
Also, right now I cannot control anything from the Device Status screen. I am assuming this is the heart of my problem.

The SDM log is shown in the SDM window. You can export it to a file, but it is cleared occasionally, so you need to save it soon after the events in question occur.

Spaces after the comma do not matter. The command itself looks fine.
Tony's got you covered. If the timed event is showing triggered in PowerHome, then the timed event triggered. You should also see immediately after the Insteon Out command in the eventlog as well. If this is missing, then the execution queue is hung. If the Insteon Out command shows in the log and the light did not turn on, then the SDM may be hung. A copy of the SDM log will confirm this. If the SDM was not hung, then you've got noise issues.
If you had a lot of problem links that would not clean up until you deleted them and these were valid links that you would like to have, then I highly suspect noise or communication issues. Depending upon the size of your house, the noise on the line, the number of signal sucking devices on the line, and the number of Insteon devices you have, you could have communication issues. The SDM log will oft times show communication problems if you have a long sequence of "eventraw=3" lines in between commands. Sometimes it helps to reposition your RFLincs or even add additional RFLincs.
If you'd like, email me a copy of your SDM log and I'll analyze it for any problems.
