Welcome to PH!
I think UUIRTDRV.DLL is for the USB-UIRT IR controller. Go into Setup, then, under controllers, make sure you have None set for IR and the Powerlinc USB for X-10.
The control center is blank until you set it up.

Hi,
I removed the USBUIRT and not I get the message

I use smarthome software for powerlinc and it is working fine. my powerlinc from other apps is working fine.

So, you set the X-10 controller to PowerLinc USB, restarted PH, and get that error? You are using 1.03.4.4, right?

noshali,
Sorry to be so long in getting back to you on a problem of this nature .
I think I know what the problem is....If Im not mistaken, I also received an email from you where you state that you're trying to use a PowerLinc USB (1132CU) device. Herein is the problem. PowerHome's support for the PowerLinc USB is for the 1132U device. I have never tested PowerHome for use with an 1132CU. From what Ive read though, it would appear to be mostly the same device with 32K of memory to hold internal programming.
Now, it's possible that we may be able to get this to work with PowerHome, but we'll first have to make a change or two in the pwrhome.ini file. If you open this file and locate the [PowerLinc USB] section, you'll see two parameters labeled ProductID and VendorID. The VendorID is 4287 and represents SmartHome devices. The ProductID for the 1132U is 1. My guess is that you would need to change the ProductID field to something other than 1 since this uniquely identifies the 1132U. The 1132CU may have a product ID of 2 or they may have skipped some numbers. You may be able to find a USB sniffer program on the web that will be able to identify the ProductID for you. Once you locate the correct ProductID, update the pwrhome.ini file and save it. Close and restart PowerHome. If the 1132CU truly is backwards compatible with the 1132U, then PowerHome should find the device and be able to control it.
Keep in mind however, that any of the advanced programming enhancements of the 1132CU over the 1132U will not be available (unless the programming is somehow accomplished by sending the standard 1132U commands).
Hopefully this response does not come to you too late and if you discover the ProductID and the 1132CU works with PowerHome, let me know and I'll make changes so that it appears as an option in the PowerHome list of controllers.
Thanks,
Dave.
