PowerHome says it requires a 32-bit version of windows vista. Will it work on
a 64-bit version of windows 8. Sorry if this is a stupid question. I don't know
too much about that kind of stuff.

Ben,
PowerHome can run on 64 bit systems without issue. I
know of users who have used XP, Vista, and Win 7 all 64
bit versions without a problem. Several users are using
PowerHome on Windows 8 without issue but Im note sure if
they're using 32 or 64 bit.
Best thing to do would be to try it out and report back
any issues you may have. It should work without a
problem but until someone actually tries it I cant say
for sure. Your best bet would be to install the 2.1.4
beta as this is more compatible with the newer OS'es.
