Hey guys I have a fast but simple one. All of my smarthome dimmers are ramped via the keypads. If I turn on any light via the switch on the wall they will ramp slowly turn off or off respectively (i think 2 seconds I set them too).

When I run my TimedEvent that goes off at 6pm every night using this formula:INSTEONGROUP+AFTERNOON+ON+ADMIN+55 the lights just instant on to 55%.

Is there something else I can specify in the formula to have the lights ramp up slowly as they do when I use the light switch?

TIA
Dave

A Group command cannot affect Bright level or Ramp rate. These values are taken out of each responder link record for the respective responder.

There are two Insteon Direct commands which specify a combination of Bright Level and Ramp Rate. The granularity is courser since only 4 bits in cmd2 are used for each value. See the following link for a description of these commands.

Not all devices support these two commands.
