Are there any devices out there that can help me troubleshoot electric/electronic devices in my house to see which ones are
causing me Insteon signal issues. Some recent posts here have led me to believe that I may have excessive noise or attenuation,
and looking at the Insteon Communications (Overall) report in PH leads me to believe it is true.
(sorry for the right-left scrolling)
All of the devices at the bottom of this graph (from study_lamp and down) are in the same area of my house. Right next to the
study where there are three computers turned on 24/7, along with a host of other devices AND it is right next to my wiring
closet where I have yet another computer running 24/7 (my HA and Power Home computer, in fact), along with many other devices.
I guess I wouldn't be surprised to see something(s) in these two rooms causing me problems. So, how do I go about
troubleshooting this? And once I find an offending device, what can I do to fix it? I can't really move anything to a
different room, nor do I want to throw anything away simply because it is causing Insteon noise.

Plug all computers and amps with peripherals into strips and plug the strips into FilterLincs. PLM/PLC should be by itself NOT on a strip. You can also piggyback an Access Point off the back of the PLM/PLC and that might help.

Do those things really work? They sound kinda gimmicky to me. But I am willing to give it
a shot. I'll need about eight of them.

They sure do. Depending how many devices you have I would get as big a strip you can or cascade them to cut the cost down. I also run all my computers stuff through a battery backup which also plugs into a FilterLinc. They come in 2 sizes but the smaller one works fine for all the junk I have.
