Twice in the past two months I have found PH software locked up - after the second time it lost its ability to process Insteon messages.

I'm running PH in winXP with a new dual band USB PLM. In both cases the software was frozen and I had to go into win task manager to shut it down. I think I did a complete reboot of the computer both times. I'm running JDS WinEVM, Homerunner, and Symantic PCAnywhere on the same computer.

It froze a week ago and seems to have lost its ability to process incoming insteon messages since then. It seems like it was working at least partly a few days ago, so these may be unrelated problems. Basically, triggers and macros that were working just fine a week ago are not activated. I can see the incoming insteon traffic in PH, but no trigger. When I restart PH communication with the PLM fails - I have to unplug/replug the USB cable and then it sees the incoming traffic just fine.

I searched the forum and could not find any posts that complained about the same symptoms, but maybe used the wrong key words.

Thanks for your help.

Ok, so Dave helped me fix the unresponsive triggers and macros. It turns out my PLM had lost all of its links, so with the triggers set to pop in response to a group command, nothing was happening. Just another example of the computer doing what it was told to do, not what I wanted it to do. It turns out that the fix is simple:
- In the Insteon explorer, setup tab, under PLC Setup click 'Clear PLC/PLM Darabase.' Then click 'Add Full' to restore all of the links.

That's all it took, and no she's working like a charm once again.

Thanks Dave!
