I set up a macro to send X10 - does not seem to be working. I set up a bunch of X10 devices. When I try to control the devices in the control center I get an error telling my my device types and tables are messed up. So, how do I fix this?

Do they work not using the Control Center? If no can you be a little more specific on the message.

Each macro is set up to trigger an X10 device on in response to an Insteon device 'on' received. I set up a trigger for the Insteon device and then the macro to send the X10. The log shows both trigger and macro events, but I do not see an X10 signal being sent over the power line. I decided to test the X10 device by manually turning it on in the control center - that's when I got the error message about device tables.

Do you see the outbound X10 traffic in the Insteon Raw Log trace under Insteon Explorer. Using the Device Status function I selected ON for an X10 device. The following is what you should expect to see.

This may seem redundant but you did set them up under devices and selected the controller..

- I did create them in the PH Explorer under devices, and I did select a controller. When I created an X10 controller I used the wizard and selected 'usb plm.' It created a second controller entry 'Insteon1' that I assume is for X10, so I selected that controller for my X10 devices.
- I can't find the raw insteon log right off, but I can tell you that my powerlink coupler does not show any sign of x10 traffic, and the Stargate is not seeing any x10 signals either.

So, I suspect it is something to do with the controllers...

Ok, so I changed them all to use the Insteon controller and deleted the second controller that PH created in the wizard - that seems to have solved the problem.

Thanks for your help.

Changing to using the Insteon Controller (PLM used by PH for the Insteon devices) is the solution. X10 messages are supported by the PLM just as Insteon messages are.
