Is there a way to handle INI files, beyond using ph_readfile and pulling everything into one string and parsing it? Just asking before I do a lot of work!

Not currently .

But, the good news is Ive just added two new functions: ph_getini and ph_setini that will do it for you .

They'll be in the next beta which should be available before the end of the week.

Another option would be to use the built in functions in VBScript for INI file processing and then run this script from PowerHome.

Sounds good. I was thinking of creating a macro that read an INI file to set up holidays for not waking me up on my days off! I bet we could also come up with a few other other uses for this.

Duhhhhh....I was updating the documentation for the next release and I already have INI functions.  The profilestring() function will read from an INI file and the undocumented setprofilestring() function will update INI files.  The parameters for the setprofilestring function are: setprofilestring("INI filename","section","parameter","value").

So Ive yanked the ph_getini and ph_setini functions .
