Tony,
Not actually. What the process email functions will do is connect to your default MAPI client (Outlook Express, etc), and force it to retrieve mail from your server. It will then scan the subjects of any new email received and process any intended for PowerHome and then optionally delete them from your mail client. It should not matter if a copy of the message is left on the server or not since what is actually happening is that the messages go from the server to the client and then from the client to PowerHome.
Now, it sounds as if the email client is always running and set to periodically check for new email every X minutes. I havent played with PowerHome in this mode yet so I don't know if it will process the email if the client has already received it. I know that you can leave the email client open, don't have it automatically check for email, and then have PowerHome set to do the periodic checking using the ph_processemail function.
If you get a chance, do you think you could run some tests and let me know what happens if the email client has already received the email but it is unread?
Dave.
