I'm ready to invest in quality microphones and speakers that are compatible with PowerHome2. Any suggestions?
I Googled HA microphones and ran across the following link. Do you know which microphones are quality but not overly expensive? I'd be looking to purchase 4+ mics.

Same goes for HA speakers. How is a n00b supposed to differentiate between all these speaker options?

I'm new to HA but have a technical background and have heard that UPB devices are best. Your thoughts?
Cheers.

PH isn’t the driver behind the source. You can send speaker source through a high quality stereo system or drive speakers directly from your computer. The quality of the sound, as far as the amplification, will be determined on what you plug the listening device into. PH’s role in all this is to select and direct to where and when to those devices. So any advice one of us would offer on headphones or speakers is basically from personal preferences not in the sense of automation. That being said I direct my output to a Marantz amp out to Paradign speakers. For my computer I use better quality Dell speakers with a subwoofer.
