apparently Houselinc lets you read the firmware revision level of a module (for example, the motion sensor). I'm sure PH won't be out-done here. Does anyone know how to do this?

PowerHome displays the firmware level of most devices under the Devices tab. Not sure PH can currently do that for the motion sensor because of the lack of Peek capability in the motion sensor. I could be wrong about that as the firmware level may be available in the link device identification message. If it does require an I2 sequence I don’t think PH does that currently. Also would require a PLM as the Controller as I don’t think the PLC supports I2.

Don't mean to be dim - I don't see an appropriate column under Devices

Jeff, Insteon Explorer – Devices and scroll right window all the way right. Motion Sensor does not display firmware.

Ok - i get that it doesn't. but for the sake of argument. I go to that window, scroll right, and my last 4 columns are ACK Count, NAK count, event 03 count and failed matches. am i missing something?

It is the 7th column from the right (Firmware). Just to the right of Previous Exclude column. What level of PH are you running? It may be a PH2 addition.
