I am trying to transmit from a USB-UIRT to a transmitting Powermid and then from a receiving Powermid to a TV. To test I created a Power On in PH and tested the TV from PH -> USB_UIRT -> TV and it worked. If I insert the Powermids in the chain it will not work. If I use the remote control to the Powermid it works. I have read many threads on the noisy Powermids but most of that dealt with receiving to the USB-UIRT. I even tried the 2 Kleenex trick. Anyone know of any tricks or anything about StarTech Wireless Remote Extender.

And then there’s this:

(Look out for blanks from Forum)

Well after much testing I finally got it to work. I found if the Powermid is 12” away from USB-UIRT it picks up a clean signal and send it on. Greater distances evidential pick up more noise and cause a problem. Tony, I know you got this to work, is this what you had to do?

I have my UIRT and Powermid receiver next to each other, both facing a wall that is about 10' away. Works well.
