I have an Elk M1 and Insteon and am kind of looking around for the best way to connect to both. I came across this:
http://www.netburner.com/products/serial_to_ethernet/sb70.ht ml

and it looks like for $99 I would have a board that would provide ethernet access to two serial ports. My thought is I could use one to connect to the Elk and one to the Insteon.

Has anyone tried this with PowerHome?

I've only used the ELK-IP232 module (with 12 concurrent socket sessions) and it's solid. I just ordered 6 of them to convert all of my physical serial ports to IP.
