How reliability are people finding the Insteon PLC and PowerHome to be?
I'm finding that my PLC requires me to reboot or reset it, often also requiring me to restart PowerHome every day or 2. I've had pretty good luck with the Insteon devices talking between themselves, but would like to have some features that PowerHome controls. I'm loath to do so, since I don't want to be fiddling with it every day.
Do I have a just have crappy controller or is this normal?

I was having the same problem until I added a timed event each night: ph_reinitialize ( )
(A trick I learned from this board).
Since then I haven't had any PowerHome/PLC related problems.

I'll try that. I guess the issue is more with the PLC though. It's not unusual for me to see a ton of "SRIR=SEND FAILED" in the log.
Normally unplugging it and plugging it in again solves this.
Just seems rather flaky to me.

I had a similar problem and RMAed the PLC back to Smarthome and have not had a problem since.
