Hello everyone. I just upgraded from the Firecracker to the CM11A so as to be able to accept X10 inputs. At the moment, there are two problems.

First, Powerhome takes a long time (5-10 seconds) to respond to an input. For example, if I have a trigger that does a TTS on X10 code A1, when I hit the switch for A1, there's about 5 seconds before it does the TTS. I'm not sure if this is a software problem, or just a symptom of the fact that I have an old house which requires a phase combiner for X10 to function. Any ideas for things to tweak?

Also, for some reason, when I do an input, Powerhome reads it twice. For example, when I do the A1 trigger, it does the TTS macro twice. If I make the mistake of holding the A1 switch down for a second (which is an easy mistake to make with the 10 second delay), it sometimes runs the macro 10-20 times. Any way to prevent this kind of behavior?

Finally, and this is kind of an aside...does anyone know the range of the Eagle Eye motion sensor?

Thanks
Tom

What are you using to send the X10 commands?

I also asked around for Eagle Eye specs but never saw any.

I've been using a Slimline wall switch and a Palmpad remote.

Then that delay could make sense.

To get a significant speed increase, you should upgrade to a WGL W800RF32 for receiving X10 RF. Works fast and great.
