All of a sudden my 2334-232 KPL has quit functioning correctly with regard to the button lighting interaction.

Controlled from other switches all is well and the 4-interlocked fan speed Hi/Med/Lo/Off KPL LEDs all correctly synchronize, turning appropriate button lights off when one of the other buttons is turned on (changing the fan speed) as dedfined in the Device's "Insteon Options-KPL' tab button lighting configurations.

BUT I have no program control over the button lights. I have set up generic button groups ie, "BUT-3" with a group code of 203 and using that in a ph_insteongroupcu("BUT-3","KEN BR LITEFAN KPL",ifastoff) with all the proper links defined in the "KEN BR LITEFAN KPL" and the Instean Options-KPL tab but it does not work.

Been debugging for two days and out of ideas. Any ideas of what I am missing? I seem to be able to turn on the BUT-6 (fan off) but can not turn off any of the other fan state lights so I end up with two buttons always lite.

 HELP

None of the "ph_insteongroupcu" commands work.

I have factory reset the KPK and rebuilt all the KPL's links

Update. I can not turn on/off BUT-6 either as I thought I could.

Now none of the KPL fan buttons 3,4,5,6 work at all either with SW commands or manual pushes to start the fan.

This seems to be a KPL failure BUT I HOPE NOT as there can't be many replacement devices for less than $100 being sold anywhere! :-(

Any ideas gratefully accepted. BTW everything thing I try works on all my other KPLS. It is just this one that is funky! :-(
