Dave, I am having a problem getting the 'ph_isdaylightsavings' function to evaluate in formula builder. Is there any known issues with this function???
I tried 'ph_isdaylightsavings(now())' and that will not evaluate in formula builder.

Nick,
You're right. Try as I might, I am unable to get this function to work. It seems to be related to passing in a DATE parameter. Not sure why this is a problem but Ive got it working now with a DATETIME parameter (this will have no effect on how this function works as you can pass in just a date).
Anyways, this will be available in the next version and will also include the changes for the new daylight savings time law going into effect in 2007.
BTW, the proper format for the command will be:
ph_isdaylightsavings(today())
The now() is a time only value .
Dave.

dave, have you ever got this function to work??? I still can not get it to work with 'ph_isdaylightsavings(today()) '. Does the current version of PH include the changes for the daylightsavings time changes?

Nick,
Ive fixed the function, but it's in the version that Im currently working on. Hopefully just a few days more and I'll have it ready for release.
Dave.

OK, Dave, I installed the newest version of PH (1.3.4.10). Isn't the command "ph_isdaylightsavings(today())" supposed to be returning a "1" since we are currently in Daylight savings time, or am I misinterpreting DST???

Beginning in 2007, most of the United States begins Daylight Saving Time at 2:00 a.m. on the second Sunday in March (3/11/07) and reverts to standard time on the first Sunday in November (11/4/07).

does the command "ph_isdaylightsavings(today())" take into account that DST starts at 2 am? at 1:59 am will PH recongnize that DST has not started yet? The parameter "today" seems to imply a date, not a time. Will DST actually start in PH at 2AM on March 11????
