I've been away from Messageboard for awhile and see that PH has really moved on. I'm running Version 1.03.3 and my X10 Preferences for Controllers shows W800RF32.

Does the W800RF32A work. Is there a W800RF32?

Pat,

Yes, the W800RF32 works for the W800RF32 or W800RF32A. If memory serves, the W800RF32 was identical to the W800RF32A except that it didnt have an external antenna connector.

Let me know if you have any problems upgrading. Since you're so many versions back, it may be tricky.

Dave.

I can't figure out what I'm missing here. I've had this W800rf32A working before on a different computer and it works on this one on serial port 1 with the W800rf32a Demo but it just sits there with PH

Did you set it up as a controller in Setup, Controllers?

Yes, and now I changed the load order to first and now it is working. I don't have my CM11A or CM17A installed yet but they are in setup and preceded the w800rf32 so maybe PH got hung looking for them even though the active box is not checked.

Put it back to the bottom of the load list and it is still working on COM3

Switched to COM1, reinit and it still works - go figure

In a related matter, I enabled my second serial port in BIOS and it works but it is bound to COM3. Is this going to be a problem if I use one serial port (COM1) for my CM11A and the other(COM3) for the W800rf32 since they will be using the same IRQ and base memory.
