Hi
I'm really digging the new version, well worth the $80. However I'm having a bit of a problem with the keypadlinc configuration. I see all of my keypadlincs but when I doubleclick on one, it hangs at the Please Wait screen, never opening the actual configuration. Communication with the keypads are fine as I've been able to add and remove links w/o a problem and I have 100% acks across all of my devices (love the new reports!)
Looking at the SDM logs, I'm seeing no traffic whilst I wait. I had no problems with the previous version of PH keypadlinc config.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Rob

Check the devices to see if they are marked as keypadlinc in the device section. I think they were not marked correctly when Dave first released the latest version. I think he fixed it since then.

Thanks for the quick reply. I already marked them as keypadlincs. Left unmarked, they don't even show up in the keypadlinc configuration screen. In my case, I see all of them listed. However, when I doubleclick one to load the configuration, nothing happens other than the red Please Wait... message.
Regards,
Rob

Rob,
Do you get any "Reading KPL" type of message in the "Pending Operations" box?
Dave.

Thanks for the reply Dave. I seemed to have fixed it. I added a new KPL and the config screen worked fine. Looking at the difference between the working KPL and the 3 non-working ones, I noticed the new one had a different controller name. Where previously the powerlinc came up by the name I had assigned it in PH, how it's showing up by its Insteon address. I went and re-selected the controller for all of my other devices and exited. Upon running PH again, all 4 KPL's are working properly now.

Rob,
This is a problem Im aware of in the current version and has been fixed for the next. Basically, the "Controller" for the KPL must match the currently connected Insteon DM controller before KPL's can be programmed.
Glad to hear it's working now.
Dave.
