First, Great work on the new Insteon Explorer! It is by far the best Insteon Network overview I've seen yet. I'd love to get a little more data on the Reports and what they mean but I digress.
--EDIT--
Okay, nevermind. For whatever reason I tried to get this to go through for 4 hours today and then I posted and not two minutes later hit refresh just for kicks and BAM, it showed verified. *sigh*
I have one problem, however.
What I did:
On the links tab I selected the device I wanted to modify (a KPL) in the center pane.
I then selected the device I wanted to control (A switchlinc) in the right pane and clicked the left arrow at the bottom to add it to the 'responders' list.
After doing so I needed to fill in the group under responders (to assign it to a KPL button). The button I selected (6) had been previously set up at the KPL by hand to be a non-toggle off command button. It is also cross linked to buttons 3, 4, and 5 to control their status lights as this button will eventually turn off their linked loads (the old ALL OFF scenario).
What's broken:
My problem now is that under responders for my new link the 'Ctlr Link Status' field is stuck in 'Flagged Create' and doesn't want to go to verified. Checking the responder shows that it is also showing 'Flagged Create'.
I checked the SDM logs and I don't seem to be getting any nckmsg's. Any ideas? Is this another example of KPLs not working right when you crosslink their buttons?

Draco,
Whew!! You had me worried. Glad that it all worked out. On the Link screen, the windows do not automatically update so you would need to either double-click the device you're currently working with (this will do a refresh) or press the refresh button.
What I typically do is create the link, save it, and then check the "Pending operations" window in the upper left hand corner. The "CREATE LINK" should appear shortly and then I watch to see it move over to the completed operations window. I double click my device to confirm that the link status shows VERIFIED.
HTH,
Dave.
