Hi folks,

My old computer that PH runs on is about to give up the ride. I am going to move it to another computer. Anything special considerations for this task?

Thanks

The easiest thing to do is a clean install, then copy over your databse and ini file. Don't forget any other files you may have put in the ph folder or below!

If you have to put in the work anyway, I recommend a clean install of Windows Too... the less overhead the Processor has to deal with the more resources can be given to PH...

New PC's nowadays are not equiped with serial ports and other hardware like it, otherwise I would buy a new system, with a clean install of windows... preferably XP or 2003 server...
