I have successfully discovered a number of KPLs and SLs, and created links using PH between the SLs and the PLC. (phew, lots of TLAs in there -- three letter acronyms)

Event log does not show ANY "incoming insteon" at all. None. Nada. Zip. I can discover links, I can send Insteon commands, it's picking up X10 signals and showing them as incoming, but Insteon? Uh, no.

Any ideas/help?

I am in the same boat. Hopefully, Dave can come up with some things to try.

FYI: The SDM log shows incoming raw Insteon commands, so the problem doesn't appear to be SDM...

*bump*

Sent a link to this thread to support, too. No news is bad news when it's needed pre-sales.

Shall I move on to something else?

I had to turn on logging of Insteon messages in the Setup-Logs section of the PowerHome Explorer.

EHX is happening, so, I bet Dave is busy with that. He'll respond soon.

Just to clarify my above post. I wasn't seeing any Insteon messages either when I initially installed Powerhome. When I looked at the Log Setup screen the Insteon In and Out options weren't checked 'on'. Selecting them fixed the problem. Maybe the new version has a different default setting than the previous one?

ColinB: That did it. Now my test trigger works. It didn't before; perhaps when inbound Insteon logging is off, triggers don't work on inbound Insteon commands?

Hmm. Logging should not be required for triggers. Could be a bug. I just enabled Insteon In; we'll see what happens.

Great detective work guys! FuseWerx, sorry to take so long in responding. Was at the EHExpo and had absolutely no time to check the board or email.

The show was definately interesting. Testing PowerHome for 8 hours a day for 3 days doing nothing but linking, unlinking, etc. really was a torture test (for both me and PowerHome). Ive uncovered some additional bugs to the one discovered in this thread and will be releasing a new version shortly.

Appreciate your patience and you guys catching this bug for me.

Dave.
