Is there a difference with these, or, are they functionally the same?

Thanks,
Tony

Tony,

No they are different. The X-10 RF In is only currently supported by the MR26A. The X-10 In is pretty much everything else. Even if the command originates via a palm pad which is RF and received by a transceiver such as a TM751, the command is now on the powerline and as such is considered an X-10 In. The MR26A however, directly picks up RF and the powerline may never see the actual command. The differences are listed below:

X-10 RF In: X-10 status variables are not modified; X-10 internal matrix is not modified. The X-10 multi-X variables ARE updated.

X-10 In: X-10 status variables and X-10 internal matrix are both updated. Multi-X variables are updated.

Unless you have a mouseremote (MR26A), use the X-10 In trigger.

If you want to read a little more on it, its buried in the manual in the Appendix under the MR26A section

Dave.
