so i just upgraded to the new beta version and my usb-uirt is no longer recgonized by power home. All the codes are there but the device itself will not work. Help please

well im an idiot and didnt have the connect button clicked. funny how easy we forget. but now my VR will not work. I did the mic set up all that is good. but it wont recgonize anything. and it doesnt display ??? like it is listining... any advice?
