Hi All....

I had to install Windows 7 64Bit but now I can't get the remote DS to run.... I tried both ANSI and Unicode
but this doesn't work... has onyone else got the RemnoteDS to work in the 64bit-Windows7?

Peter,

You'll definitely want to use the Unicode version. I did not get a chance to test on Win 7/64 but I did test on Vista. I did a clean install into c:\powerhome (not the default c:\program files\powerhome) and configured the ini file. I then launched and I got a Comodo Allow/Disallow message (I use Comodo for my firewall). I clicked "Allow" and then I got a Windows Firewall popup to Unblock or Keep blocking and I selected "Unblock". After that, the Remote DS launched and was able to control without issue.

When I get a chance, I'll actually try it on a Win 7/64 machine but the main thing you'll want to do is install into c:\powerhome on any Vista/Win 7 machines and it should work without issue.

Let me know,

Dave.
